PlatinumGames’ NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series is a continuation of the spirit and fun of classic gaming through modern technologies, and the very first game in the series will be Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking as well as formation strategy of old-fashioned shooting game Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and enhances them using an innovative “free-form docking” technique. The flagship Yamato comprises three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano can utilize various attacks depending on how three of the ships are aligned. Splitting, docking and restructuring the ships when necessary is essential to defeating the armies of Mandler.
